Gianna House’s Residential program strives to meet the needs of young moms-to-be 18-25 who are pregnant or have recently given birth (and need just as much support, guidance, and love as those who are pregnant).
In addition to classes and helping to meet a mother’s practical needs (diapers, clothing, etc.) some of the most therapeutic moments occur when cooking meals, changing diapers, playing with babies or enjoying games. Our amazing team works with each mother to provide an individualized action plan which incorporates the young mother’s goals during her stay for education, career, and life objectives for herself and her child. We will help her meet those goals while providing a private room, a safe and nurturing environment, and educational opportunities such as parenting and independent living classes and experiential learning. Additionally, our young mothers receive:
Educational Classes & Support
Specialized Classes
such as breastfeeding, prenatal, and Lamaze labor techniques
